MIRTY 180 is a food supplement that contains nutrients and vegetable components in a balanced equilibrium aimed to encourage the rebalance of these elements in the event of shortage or an increased need, and especially to promote the physiological well-being of the visual apparatus, visual acuity, as well as the peripheral microcirculation.
Blueberry, berries: it is known for some time that the dry extract of blueberry is able to improve night vision. In fact, it facilitates the regeneration of rhodopsin, which is the retinal pigment essential for vision in low light conditions. However, its benefit on a ocular lever is not limited only to that, in fact it is able to fight the fragility and excessive vascular permeability through a capillary-protective action, well demonstrated both on the retinal blood vessels, and of the peripheral ones. This actions can be explained with the fact that the anthocyanins are capable of inhibit the activity of certain enzymes (elastase and collagenase) that destroy the collagen and elastic tissues. Different rigorous clinical studies demonstrated that the anthocyanins of blueberry reduce the damage of capillaries of the retina in a statistically significant way compared to placebo in patients suffering from hypertensive and / or diabetic retinopathy. Some research performed on adults with diabetes have also shown that the intake of titrated dry extract of blueberry causes a significant reduction in the synthesis of connective and fibrous tissue in general. The antioxidants in blueberry can be extremely useful for preventing diabetic retinopathy, since the main causes of the disease is the increased production of connective.
Vitamin A: it is found in nature in two main forms: retinol (of animal origin) and carotenoids (of vegetable origin – found in fruit and vegetables with orange or dark green color). Both forms are pro vitamins, i.e. precursors which are then transformed into the same vitamin. In all of its forms, Vitamin A constitutes one of the essential factors for the vision as it is the main constituent of rhodopsin – a substance sensitive to the light present in retina. The lack of retinol involves defects in vision that can lead to more serious cases, as well as complete blindness.
Vitamin C: besides being an important co metabolic factor and a very good antioxidant, it has a fundamental role in the maintenance of connective tissue; Vitamin C appears to be especially important in preventing the tension caused by glaucoma and hardening of the eye (which leads to a progressive loss of vision), as well as for corneal ulcers or for preventing and helping the elimination of both bacterial and viral infections.
Vitamin E: known for its important antioxidant activity, also plays important roles in the prevention of degenerative diseases of the eye. The use of this vitamin, concomitantly with an appropriate pharmacological therapy has given good results in the treatment of the weakening of the eye muscles, strabismus, blurred or double vision, and even atherosclerosis of the eye.
Mirty 180 is recommended in case of shortage of the nutrients listed above, or to assist in the treatment of increased need, aimed to promote the physiological well-being of the visual apparatus, visual acuity as well as the peripheral microcirculation.
