Ekistil is a re-epithelialising, lubricating and refreshing solution that provides relief for tired or red eyes, or eyes affected by contact lens wear, injuries, abrasions or corneal ulcers. Its formulation, focused on the use of new plant-derived molecules, draws on the intrinsic properties of Echinacea and sunflower seed.

Ingredients

• Plant stem cell extracts from Echinacea angustifolia: plant stem cells contain polysaccharides with humectant functions, phytosterols with emollient activity, amino acids that promote re-epithelialisation, and mineral salts that maintain osmotic balance.
• GPI choline (glycerophosphoinositol), a choline salt extracted from sunflower lecithin: it moisturises, nourishes and soothes the eye through the presence of essential nutrients: choline, inositol and glycerol.
• HEC (hydroxyethylcellulose): a solution thickener.
• PHMB (biguanide): with disinfectant and preservative action.
• Directions for use: Instil 1–2 drops up to four times daily.
• When to use: Useful in the treatment of corneal ulcers, abrasions and injuries, trauma and dry eye syndrome. After refractive surgery and phacoemulsification. The solution can also be instilled while wearing contact lenses.
