How INFRABIOS processes personal data.
1. Controller and contact details

2. Data we process
- Enquiries: your name, email address, selected product and message, together with information you voluntarily provide by email or telephone.
- Technical data: IP address, request date and time, requested resources, browser and device information, processed by the systems that deliver and protect the website.
- Cookie choices: your marketing preference, notice version and time of your choice, stored in your browser.
- Marketing, only with consent: cookie identifiers, device information and visits to institutional pages through Meta Pixel. We do not send form contents, product page visits or clinical category visits to Meta.
Our forms are for product information, not medical consultations: do not include diagnoses, medical reports or other health information.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries and providing information: steps requested before entering into a contract where relevant (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for other general enquiries, our legitimate interest in managing correspondence and responding (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Operation and security: our legitimate interest in website availability and preventing abuse (Article 6(1)(f)); compliance with legal obligations where applicable (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Remembering choices: a necessary technical function to respect your cookie preferences.
- Advertising measurement with Meta: optional consent (Article 6(1)(a)), withdrawable through cookie preferences.
Your name, email and message are needed to handle the form: without them you cannot submit an enquiry. Marketing cookie consent is optional; refusing does not prevent browsing or contacting us. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to newsletters or authorise promotional messages.
4. Processing and recipients
Data is processed electronically by authorised staff and providers supporting hosting, email, maintenance and security, within their respective duties and under the arrangements required by law. The version intended for infrabios.it uses the Aruba hosting selected for this website. Advisers and public authorities may receive data where required by law. Your data is not publicly disclosed.
If you accept marketing, Pixel data is received by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Meta may associate visits with other information it holds and use them for advertising measurement and personalisation under its terms. See Meta’s privacy policy and Business Tools Terms.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Using Meta services may involve processing and transfers outside the European Economic Area. Where relevant, adequacy decisions and other safeguards under Articles 44 onwards of the GDPR, including standard contractual clauses, apply as described in Meta’s policy. You may ask the controller for information on the safeguards applicable to the providers involved.
6. Retention
Enquiries and correspondence are retained for the time needed to respond and complete requested follow-up. Further retention is limited to documentation needs, legal obligations and the protection of rights within applicable limitation periods. Technical data follows periods proportionate to operational and security needs; incident data may be retained to establish the facts. Cookie preferences remain in your browser for 183 days; tracker durations are explained in the Cookie policy. Meta explains its own retention periods in its privacy policy.
7. Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact info@infrabios.it to exercise your rights. The controller normally responds within one month, subject to extensions permitted by law.
You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.
8. Cookies and updates
